Dr. Vishnoi, of Indian origin, has a spiritual background cultivated from childhood. He studied at Maulana Azad Medical College, one of India's leading medical schools, followed by three years of training in Neuropsychopharmacology. He also gained training in Yoga, Tai-Chi, Reiki, Acupuncture, Acupressure, and nutritional medicine. He gained experience as a senior medical advisor in a pharmaceutical company, directing clinical trials for neuropsychiatric medications while simultaneously learning in a private community-based psychiatry practice in India. He then completed a four-year psychiatry residency at SUNY, serving as chief resident and scoring in the 99th percentile on the PRITE exam. Dr. Vishnoi specialized in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Northwell Health (Zucker Hillside Hospital) in Long Island, NY, and is board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the ABPN.
He has worked as an outpatient psychiatrist in New Jersey, currently serving as the Attending Psychiatrist at St. Clare’s Hospital’s Outpatient Counseling Services in Denville. His role includes supervising psychiatry residents in outpatient, extensive outpatient, and Wellness and Recovery urgent care settings. He has also gained experience in inpatient settings, including Child and Adolescent, Adult voluntary and involuntary, and Substance Use and Recovery units.
